Basketball Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th.

On both days, girls will try out from 3-4:30 pm, and boys will try out from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.

Woolwich Central School is proud to offer a fantastic middle school sports program that includes Cross Country, Soccer and Basketball. Students also have the opportunity to join other RSU #1 sports programs not currently offered at WCS. Our Athletic Director is Shane Hutchings. We are excited to announce that Athletic Registration for the 2025/26 school year is now OPEN! We are moving toward a new registration platform on Fusion Point. Our goal is that this will be an exciting change that will put Morse, Bath MS & Woolwich MS athletics all on the same online registration platform. The alignment of our online registration will allow families the chance to register for athletics consistently during their time from middle school through high school.  This will mean no more paper packets!

A few new positive features with the new registration platform:

  • You can now sign up for your Fall, Winter & Spring sports before the season starts and all at once!  If your child changes their mind about a sport at a later date - you can easily change the sport choice or an administrator can cancel it. The school still will require an up to date physical within one year of the start of each sport season for all schools. These can be uploaded within the online registration.
  • Athletic registrations will be managed by our respective school athletic directors. I will work closely with the Bath MS and Morse athletic directors to ensure that the program operates well for our student athletes.
  • Once you create a free account on Fusion Point (link is below) you will then have access to add all kids to their respective sports on one account.

 

*Registration MUST be filled out and signed by parent/guardian/student/doctor prior to the student being able to try out or play. The doctor's form must be completed annually and may be faxed to WCS at 443-9792. If you are having the doctor's form faxed, please remember to sign it before dropping it off at the doctor's office and call the school to confirm receipt to eliminate any disappointments on the first day of tryouts.
