CELEBRATIONS!

Great things are happening at WCS!

  • This Thursday we enjoyed our winter concert that was put on by our Kindergarteners and our Beginning Band students. We loved hearing the music and appreciate all the hard work that students put in to making the concert so great!

  • Our Boys & Girls Basketball teams finished up another amazing season. both teams worked hard, had fun and saw students achieving their personal best. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!

EAT THE RAINBOW!!

February 10th -14th will be our annual Eat the Rainbow Week. Students will get to try various fruits and vegetables throughout the week to promote healthy eating habits. a big thanks to the Wellness Committee and our PTA for all the hard work they put in that makes this week such a success. Students can dress in the color of the day if they’d like and the days will be as follows…

Monday - Orange/Yellow

Tuesday - Green

Wednesday - Blue/Purple

Thursday - Red

Friday - Rainbow/Multi-Colored

     

WINTER WEATHER CLOTHING

Please be sure your children have appropriate clothing for outdoor recess. We will be outside everyday for fresh air and exercise! If your child’s clothing (boots, coats, snow pants, etc.) is labeled with their name, we’ll be sure to keep it out of the lost and found!!

FREE ADMISSION TO THE MAINE MARITIME MUSEUM

Thanks to a grant from the Leonard C. and Mildred F. Ferguson Foundation, admission to Maine Maritime Museum will be free through the month of February! They have a created a schedule of family-friendly activities every day of school vacation week to engage younger guests. They will have games, educational demonstrations, and crafts every morning between ten and noon, entirely free of charge! 


ONE DAY FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP

Join the Morse High School Football coaching staff and players for a fun day of skills and drills. Camp will be held on Sunday, 2/2/20 at the BMS Gym. CLICK HERE for more information!
