Great things are happening at WCS!

  • This week we returned to Wednesday in-person instruction for Middle School students in Cohort A (Monday/Thursday.) It is so nice to have another day with our 6-8th graders! We’re looking forward to seeing students from Cohort B (Tuesday/Friday) on 3/17!

Conference days will look a little different this month!

Grades Pre K through 5 will have remote learning days on Thursday and Friday, 3/25 and 3/26.

Grades 6, 7 & 8 will have half days on Thursday and Friday, 3/25 and 3/26 and will attend in-person on their cohort day.

All middle school students will arrive at 8:20AM. Both early and late groups will be dismissed for buses at 11:50AM, with parents picking up at 12:00pm

WCS conferences will be held virtually on Thursday 3/25 from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

As in years past, we will be scheduling Parent-Teacher Conferences online with On the WCS website, you’ll find a link to be able to schedule a conference for all of your children. If you do not have internet access, you can call the office (443-9739) and we will schedule the conference(s) for you, or answer any questions.

Click on, then on “Parent-Teacher Conference” and “Sign Up” to schedule your children.

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART (PRE-K - 5th GRADE)

Jump Rope for Heart is back for 2021 and I am excited about the changes they have made with the pandemic.  This year the entire program is online, so if you would like to help continue the tradition here at WCS, you can follow the simple steps below and begin fundraising as well as earn some cool prizes.

The beautiful thing about it being online is it allows children to access family around the globe.  We will not be able to have our traditional event full of parent volunteers turning rope for kids, but I am still hopeful that kids and families will get the message. It is very easy to send an email to family members and see if they would like to help your child reach their fundraising goal.  As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me and I can help in any way possible.  ~ Mr. Hutchings

This guide will get you started...  Click on the link and explore to get signed up!

This parent letter they have constructed can also be helpful and explain their mission and why we do this here at WCS.

Here is a video that talks about the purpose of the program if you'd like to watch as a family!
