2/21 - 2/25 - February Break - NO SCHOOL

CELEBRATIONS!

Great things are happening at WCS!

Did you know that all RSU1 school meals are free this year? With daily meal options and new menus monthly, this is an excellent time for your students to try school breakfast or lunch for free! Students just need to stop by the cafeteria first thing in the morning for breakfast or let their teacher know in the morning that they would like school lunch.

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY - NO SCHOOL

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'” - MLK

There will be no school this Monday, January 17, 2022, as we celebrate and recognize the life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

HEALTHY HIGHLIGHTS

The vision/hearing screening has been done for the entire building!  If your child did not pass, a notice of this was mailed to your home address.  If you did not hear from me, then no news is good news!  If your child wears glasses, please make sure they wear them to school.

If you change your phone number please let the office know because this is the way I will use to get in touch with you if your child needs you. Please continue to use the symptoms monitor and DO NOT send your child to school with symptoms, as you will more than likely get a call to pick them up. If you wish to sign your student up for pooled testing, (since tests are now very hard to come by) sign up using this link:

If you wish to get your student immunized against covid-19 and have not done so because you have questions or cannot find a location to get one, please let me know and I will help.  If we all work together, we can and WILL get through this. ~ Roberta G. Sherwood, R.N., BSN, M.Ed
