CELEBRATIONS! Great things are happening at WCS! This week was Teacher Appreciation week and the WCS PTA arranged for some treats to recognize our wonderful teachers! From gifts to lunch, to personalized notes- our staff is feelin’ the love! The PTA also organized a clean-up of the Wildcat Orchard and Outdoor Classroom. Thanks to the tremendous work done by our community, these spaces feel brand new. Thank you for creating a place for students to experience joy in nature.

GUIDANCE NOTE

K-5th grade students will be having their second SASSMM visit next week starting on Tuesday, 5/10. Ask your student what they learned to continue the discussion at home!

 

UNDERAGE DRINKING PSA

Brady Chubbuck, an 8th-grade student at Woolwich Central School wants to encourage parents to start the conversation with their teens about underage drinking. Click this LINK to be directed to a public service announcement that he created about how you might approach the subject. 

LINES FROM THE LIBRARY

On Thursday we had a wonderful Author's Visit with Woolwich resident Jennifer Richard Jacobson. It was such a special opportunity for our students; thank you to the PTA for making this possible. And thanks to all our Wildcats who were such respectful audience members!
