THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

The last day of school for grades K-8 will be Friday, 6/17, and will be a half-day of school for students, with dismissal happening at 12PM. Students will be offered a bagged lunch before they leave for the afternoon.

                                  LINES FROM THE LIBRARY

All library books will be due next Thursday, June 9th. Hopefully, you can use this weekend to find any missing or long overdue items! Bills will be sent home on Friday the 10th for any books that have not been returned. Library accounts must be settled before the end of the school year. Thank you!

 HEALTHY HIGHLIGHTS

As we enter the home stretch of this school year, I want to take this opportunity to remind you that student medications need to be picked up before summer vacation. I will attempt to send an email to as many as possible, but if you are in the school in the next 2 weeks, please ask if you may pick it up now.  All remaining medicine will be discarded on the last day of school.  I can only send epi-pens and inhalers home in a backpack.  I know how expensive medicine can be so I am trying to get on this early.

LOST & FOUND

Has your student lost a lunchbox or a sweatshirt? We have a few things in our Lost & Found that have yet to be claimed. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.

RUN CLUB FUN RUN 6/4

Saturday's Fun Run has arrived and the kids are excited to show their stuff. If your child is participating please have them here by 8:45 am for a group warm-up. The K-2 run (1 mile) will start at 9:00 and the 3-5 run (2 miles) will start right after. The whole event should take no longer than an hour from start to finish. Please continue to remind the kids that this isn't a race. There are no prizes or awards. The first goal is to complete the challenge, the second goal is to complete it without walking. It is about embracing a healthy lifestyle and understanding the importance of exercise. Thank you all! See you Saturday!  - Mr. Hutchings
